Disney’s “Frozen” Character Meet & Greet

Frozen

Meeting the newest Disney princesses: Princess Anna (left) and Queen Elsa (right).

November 9, 2013:  Elly and I went to the new “Frozen” character meet & greet over at Epcot Norway pavilion. The new Disney movie opens November 27, 2013.

frozen6There was hardly anyone there to meet the princesses – we waited less than 5 minutes.  I hope the movie is good because I want these princesses to stick around! No one knew who they were.  They each introduced themselves to us:  “Hi, I’m Princess Anna” and “Hi, I’m Queen Elsa.”  They are sisters.

I want to be Queen Elsa next Halloween! I love her icy blue gown with cape and all the snowflakes on it!! 🙂

Frozen: Dinner & a Movie Night

“Frozen”: Dinner and a Movie

November 29, 2013:  We went to see Disney’s “Frozen” last night at the AMC theater in Downtown Disney. You can actually get a full dinner while watching a movie there. We both got desserts and a drink.  It was very fancy!

We liked the movie a lot, but were “frozen” ourselves while driving home; it was so cold!

Only 41 degrees when we left the movie. Burrrr!

Only 48 degrees when we left the movie theater. Burrrr!

The songs in the new movie are all very good, very “Disney”. I think the song “Let it Go” (?) will be nominated for an Academy Award…it’s that good!

May 2014 Update:  By the time we were leaving our DCP program, the wait time to meet the Frozen princesses was 300 minutes….5 HOURS! When we went in November, it was just 5 minutes! Frozen is a HUGE hit for Disney!!!!

Two Disney Sisters.

Two Girls and a Mouse Tale

by Elly Collins & Caroline Collins

Ever wonder what it’s like to work for Disney???

We worked at WDW for a year in the Disney College Program and have written a book about what it’s like to be a cast member working for Disney.

We’ve included advice on how to successfully get into the DCP program, including some of the actual phone interview questions, how to have a successful internship, and how not self-term before your program ends. Our book is filled with lots of behind-the-scene stories of the magic of Disney.

Available now at Amazon.com in paperback and Kindle formats. Published by Theme Park Press.
