We booked a room at the Animal Kingdom Lodge for mid-November with our 60% discount. It was beautiful. We LOVED our stay there! They put us in a fabulous room on the first floor with excellent views of the savannah where the giraffes and zebras roam.

Room was beautifully decorated with two queen beds. We had a late lunch at the Sanaa restaurant onsite, the nicest restaurant at the Animal Kingdom. The food was excellent. (See our next blog.)

In the morning, we grabbed some coffee and a light breakfast from the The Mara café onsite, then went back to our room and watched the keepers feed the animals for two hours literally 20 feet from us. All the zebras are pregnant. (The animals go back in their pens at night for safety. Not that Disney fears the animals interacting with the guests at night; we think they fear the guests interacting with the animals at night!)

We were sad to check out! We will return!! 🙂
