Working at DisneyQuest

Working at DisneyQuest

DisneyQuest is an “indoor interactive theme park” located in Downtown Disney on the west end. Elly worked there for the first time last week.

“Why haven’t I been working there all along?”

I loved working there! The floors are all carpeted and there are ergonomic mats to stand on by the registers. The costume is comfortable and looked OK. Everyone exiting DisneyQuest has to walk through the emporium. The sales were pretty good all day, so I was busy until closing.

Browse from a wide selection of unique items, most of them made exclusively for DisneyQuest. You’ll find something for everyone — DisneyQuest logo merchandise & souvenirs capturing the uniqueness of all four DisneyQuest Zones, apparel and hats, toys and plush, jewelry, collectibles, candy, souvenirs and lots more!

Two Disney Sisters

Two Girls and a Mouse Tale

by Elly Collins & Caroline Collins

Ever wonder what it’s like to work for Disney???

We worked at WDW for a year in the Disney College Program and have written a book about what it’s like to be a cast member working for Disney.

We’ve included advice on how to successfully get into the DCP program, including some of the actual phone interview questions, how to have a successful internship, and how not self-term before your program ends. Our book is filled with lots of behind-the-scene stories of the magic of Disney. Available now at in paperback and Kindle formats. Published by Theme Park Press.

was it hard to get around? i picked up a shift here for the first time and have no clue where to go or park

    • I was easy to get around. Park in the big parking lot on the West Side by cirque du soilel.
Then, I just went in to the front registers and said I was EHH, and they just brought me in the back and introduced me to the coordinator who showed me around. There’s a really big break room upstairs and nice lockers. Don’t forget to bring your lunch or a snack.
I thought it was a lot of fun working there!

    Thank you! I am excited.
