The Columbia Harbour House is located in the Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square just around the corner from the Hall of Presidents and across the way from the Haunted Mansion.
* When you walk upstairs, note that the wooden planks creak just like they would on a real sailing ship! It another one of those Disney attention to details…we love it!
We sat upstairs so we could admire the great views of the Rivers of America and the Liberty Belle riverboat making its way around the river bend. It’s much less crowded and busy upstairs.
Disney’s lobster roll is delicious and we highly recommend it for lunch!
It’s huge — a thick, split New England-style roll overstuffed with lobster salad. It’s more than you can wrap your mouth around and we recommend getting a fork to eat it with!

After lunch, we had a few hours until the 3pm Festival of Fantasy parade and wandered over to Fantasyland.
Who did we run into but the Fairy Godmother who was standing there all by herself!
We walked up to say hi and take a quick photo. There was no one else in line to see her!

Ever wonder what it’s like to work for Disney???
We worked at WDW for a year in the Disney College Program and have written a book about what it’s like to be a cast member working for Disney.
We’ve included advice on how to successfully get into the DCP program, including some of the actual phone interview questions, how to have a successful internship, and how not self-term before your program ends. Our book is filled with lots of behind-the-scene stories of the magic of Disney. Available now at Amazon.com in paperback and Kindle formats. Published by Theme Park Press.
