At one time, there were several live performers at Epcot (not the Disney characters) that you could see daily outside of the Italy and France pavilions, similar to DiVine at Disney’s Animal Kingdom today.

They looked like they were from the Renaissance period.

It was cool to watch them slowly put their arm around a guest!

It was cool to watch them slowly put their arm around a guest!  They always kept their eyes closed.

They were amazing to watch!  Their interactions with guests were a lot of fun to watch too.

You can watch their magic at the 2.11 mark in this video from 2009:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3JtIZ1RpSk

On one of our visits to Epcot, this mime was rolling around outside France:

Very French.

He rolled all over the place!

Two Girls and a Mouse Tale by Elly Collins & Caroline Collins
We worked at WDW for a year in the Disney College Program (Fall 2013/Spring 2014) and have written a book about what it’s like to be a cast member working for Disney.
We included advice on how to successfully get into the DCP program, including some of the actual phone interview questions, how to have a successful internship, and how not self-term before your program ends. Our book is filled with lots of behind-the-scene stories of the magic of Disney.
Available now at Amazon.com in paperback and Kindle formats. Published by Theme Park Press.
