Introducing the Disney IGNITE Series for CPs

head_cp_alumni_igniteHello from the Disney Alumni Association!

We are very excited to announce news about our upcoming Disney IGNITE Series-Inspirational Guidance to Nourish, Inform, Teach and Excite!

This new series will feature engaging virtual panel discussions with cast members and employees from around The Walt Disney Company who will share their advice and insight on specific topics. These opportunities will allow you to network with our panelists, learn Disney secrets for success and focus on your professional development no matter where you are in your career path.

You can expect a broad range of topics spanning multiple business units from across the company. The Disney IGNITE Series is scheduled to take place three times a year beginning this summer.

We will be communicating all details for this series via email, so stay tuned for more information on how you can register for these exciting opportunities! We anticipate demand to be high and will have a limitation on how many members can register. But don’t worry – we plan on recording the series for everyone to enjoy!

Finally, if you haven’t joined our Facebook group, we encourage you to get connected by clicking here to join the conversation today.

Two Girls and a Mouse Tale by Elly Collins & Caroline Collins
We worked at WDW for a year in the Disney College Program (Fall 2013/Spring 2014) and have written a book about what it’s like to be a cast member working for Disney.
We included advice on how to successfully get into the DCP program, including some of the actual phone interview questions, how to have a successful internship, and how not self-term before your program ends. Our book is filled with lots of behind-the-scene stories of the magic of Disney.
Available now at in paperback and Kindle formats. Published by Theme Park Press.
