One of my top Bucket List items is to finally try the ice cream sandwich macaron at the Epcot France pavilion.

Come on in!

Come on in!

I am obsessed with the box of macarons that you can buy at the nearby Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie, so I was excited to know that this item exists.  A perfect cool treat for a hot summer day!

Here I am talking to Bapiste – a very nice Frenchman who is also in the Disney College Program.

At L’Artisan des Glaces shop with Bapiste.

Checking out my options….

The L’Artisan des Glaces ice cream case.  So many delicious choices!

I got both options – the chocolate one and also the vanilla one that looks like the French flag.

One more shot of delicious goodness before I try it.

In case you’ve never had a macaron, it’s like a big cookie. It’s crispy on the outside and really soft on the inside.

As for which one is better, I guess it depends on what you like!

My recommendation?  Try the CHOCOLATE one!  Yum!

I absolutely love dark chocolate, so this ice cream macaron was a MUST!

If you haven’t had a chance to try one yet, add this Epcot dessert to your next trip’s itinerary! 🙂

Two Girls and a Mouse Tale

by Elly Collins & Caroline Collins

Ever wonder what it’s like to work for Disney???

We worked at WDW for a year in the Disney College Program (Fall 2013/Spring 2014) and have written a book about what it’s like to be a cast member working for Disney.

We’ve included advice on how to successfully get into the DCP program, including some of the actual phone interview questions, how to have a successful internship, and how not self-term before your program ends. Our book is filled with lots of behind-the-scene stories of the magic of Disney. Available now at Amazon.com in paperback and Kindle formats. Published by Theme Park Press.
