Dinner at La Cantina de San Angel

La Cantina de San Angel at Epcot Mexico

I got a chance to eat dinner with my friend at La Cantina de San Angel at Epcot Mexico last night.

It’s counter service (fast!) and there’s a nice patio outside where you can sit and look across World Showcase Lagoon, aka Friendship Lake. A lot of people were grabbing tables and settling in to watch Illuminations at 9pm (great views for that).

Tacos de Barbacoa

Tacos de Barbacoa for dinner.

I was going to use my Disney cast member food discount, but it’s only valid Mon-Thurs.  Bummer!  If I had known that, I would have just ordered off the kids menu.

The food is very good.  I like their tacos.

Afterwards, we walked around Epcot.

Dessert choices:  Churros or Cronut???

Cronut!!!

Cronut it is!!!

Wow, so pretty!

For lighter fare, La Cantina de San Angel, across from the big Aztec Temple, serves such Mexican favorites as tacos, churros, tostados, Mexican beer and margaritas in the outdoor café.

 Two Girls

Two Girls and a Mouse Tale

by Elly Collins & Caroline Collins

We worked at WDW for a year in the Disney College Program (Fall 2013/Spring 2014) and have written a book about what it’s like to be a cast member working for Disney.

We included advice on how to successfully get into the DCP program, including some of the actual phone interview questions, how to have a successful internship, and how not self-term before your program ends. Our book is filled with lots of behind-the-scene stories of the magic of Disney.
