I’ve been super lucky during this college program because I have the same days off as my DAK friend, Alynn.
We usually both get off work at the same time (she works over at Discovery Island), so we decided to go out for drinks at Friday’s.
One of the best things about working at DAK is that the park doesn’t stay open late like the Magic Kingdom does – those animals have to go to bed! Usually, I’m off by 8pm at the latest.
My first drink was delicious! It’s called a Bloody Orange Cooler and it’s only $5. A great summer drink after a long, hot day working out in the Florida sun!
I absolutely love all the food deals Friday’s has going on. I got the mozzarella sticks and the mini burger sliders.
I ordered a lot of food so I could have leftovers. [No time to cook!] 🙂
My friend Alynn got the flatbread pizza and a side of fries.
I thought I was done UNTIL I saw that on Monday night the drinks are just $3!
I ordered a yummy mudslide martini, my favorite! SO good!
For dessert, Alynn and I shared a delicious Tennessee Whiskey Cake topped with ice cream.
It sounds odd, but it is actually pretty good!

Ever wonder what it’s like to work for Disney???
We worked at WDW for a year in the Disney College Program (Fall 2013/Spring 2014) and have written a book about what it’s like to be a cast member working for Disney.
We’ve included advice on how to successfully get into the DCP program, including some of the actual phone interview questions, how to have a successful internship, and how not self-term before your program ends. Our book is filled with lots of behind-the-scene stories of the magic of Disney.
