December Update: The taping of the Christmas Day Parade on the West Coast has been canceled! They will only tape the parade at Disney World this year!!!
The Disneyland segment of the 2015 Christmas Day Parade will be taping much later than usual this year, scheduled for December 12 -13, 2015, with taping occurring on Main Street, onstage in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, and also in the California Adventure Park.
This year’s parade is titled ‘Disney Parks Unforgettable Christmas Celebration’, which is a change from last year’s popular “Frozen“- themed show.
Guests in the park during the filming days will be able to take part, and special event tickets are not required. Guests are encouraged to dress in festive attire.
Note: The first night of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is on November 8, 2015, so Disneyland, especially Main Street, will be fully decorated for the holidays. Cast members can get discounted tickets for MVMCP at the Company D store for $51.80.
The 2015 Christmas Day Parade taping at Disney World took place in November over four days and was fabulous!! Can’t wait until it airs!!

Ever wonder what it’s like to work for Disney???
We worked at WDW for a year in the Disney College Program (Fall 2013/Spring 2014) and have written a book about what it’s like to be a cast member working for Disney.
We’ve included advice on how to successfully get into the DCP program, including some of the actual phone interview questions, how to have a successful internship, and how not self-term before your program ends. Our book is filled with lots of behind-the-scene stories of the magic of Disney.
