Cast members can buy discounted tickets at the Company D store for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at a 30% discount off of general ticket prices for several party nights in August and September.
The ticket prices are good for the earlier party dates in August and September, which is wonderful as those are the less crowded nights.
CP Tip: The party starts at 7pm, but Disney let’s guests wearing costumes in for the party starting at 4pm. (Normally, adult guests may not wear costumes in the parks.) Come early and plan on staying until midnight!
Plan on being at MK all day: Plan on going to the Magic Kingdom in the morning and storing your costume in the lockers near the entrance. At 4pm, change into your costume and have your photo taken on Main Street before the crowds arrive at 7pm!
If you have time: Go visit the Headless Horseman Appearing at Fort Wilderness earlier in the evening.
Have a magical time!
Watch out for the headless horseman who leads the Boo To You Parade each evening!!
Disney provides the treating candy bags for free! There are 13 – a lucky number! – trick-or-treating candy stations too!
One final party note!
There are new, expanded costume rules! Please plan your party costume accordingly!

Ever wonder what it’s like to work for Disney???
We worked at WDW for a year in the Disney College Program and have written a book about what it’s like to be a cast member working for Disney.
We’ve included advice on how to successfully get into the DCP program, including some of the actual phone interview questions, how to have a successful internship, and how not self-term before your program ends. Our book is filled with lots of behind-the-scene stories of the magic of Disney. Available now at Amazon.com in paperback and Kindle formats. Published by Theme Park Press.

Historically, are the Company D discounted tickets for MNSSHP available only to FL based CMs? Or could my CM friend who lives/works in California get discounted tickets at the Anaheim Company D location for his Florida trip this fall?

The discounted MNSSHP tickets are only available at the Company D stores at Disney World.
He could call and talk to them, but I don’t think you can purchase them over the phone.
The Anaheim Company D only sells the Disneyland Halloween Party tickets.

My sister in law works at Disneyland Anaheim. My family (husband, myself and I) are planning on going with friends and their kids next month. Do we have to have a date in mind in order for my SIL to purchase the tickets for us?

Yes, Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland are ‘hard’ tickets good for a specific night only.
This is a separate admission from the daily admission ticket.
Cast members can get discounted tickets for most party nights in September.
