Toy Story Land is opening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios June 30, 2018!
Toy Story Land is based upon the beloved Pixar films and takes guests on an immersive journey. It will appear as if guests have been shrunk down to action-figure size thanks to oversized building blocks, buckets and game board pieces that will make up the area as they explore Andy’s backyard.
Video watch: Slink’s Roller Coaster ride
Two new attractions:
- Slink’s family-friendly roller coaster – Guests will board Slinky Dog’s back for a thrilling toy-filled roller coaster adventure that’s ideal for the entire family.
- Alien saucers attraction – The famous little green aliens from the movie will take guests around for a spin in their very own flying saucers – but beware The Claw above!
Toy Story Mania has been expanded to include a third track to help reduce wait times.
And, Toy Story 4 is on the way!
Movie Trailer: Toy Story 4
This time, it’s all about the love story between Woody and Bo Peep.
“I love Bo Peep,” said John Lasseter, the former chief creative officer of Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios. “And we never got to know her backstory. She wasn’t in Toy Story 3 at all, so it really set us up nicely for her to come back. It’s a very special story.” For Lasseter, in particular. The Disney exec revealed that Bo Peep’s story is based off of his own wife Nancy’s life.
Bo Peep is voiced by Annie Potts. Tom Hanks, of course, voices Woody, while Tim Allen covers Buzz Lightyear.
Toy Story 4 is due to hit theaters in June 2019, a year after the opening of Toy Story Land at DHS.

Ever wonder what it’s like to work for Disney???
We worked at WDW for a year in the Disney College Program and have written a book about what it’s like to be a cast member working for Disney.
We’ve included advice on how to successfully get into the DCP program, including some of the actual phone interview questions, how to have a successful internship, and how not self-term before your program ends. Our book is filled with lots of behind-the-scene stories of the magic of Disney.
