Disney cruisers, your “wish” has come true!
A brand-new ship will join the Disney Cruise Line, the Disney Wish, joining the Fantasy, Wonder, Dream and Magic as Disney’s fifth cruise ship.
Stern characters are a tradition of the Disney fleet and the Disney Wish’s stern will feature Cinderella.

“Spirited, smart, curious and above all, adventurous, Cinderella embodies the wish and desire to see and experience the world,” DCL said.

Magic will be found throughout this new ship, including the three-story atrium that will be inspired by the beauty of an enchanted fairy tale.
The Disney Wish will be delivered in late 2021 and – God willing – will set sail in the Caribbean in Summer 2022. (The COVID-19 pandemic has thrown the world’s cruise lines into disarray with not one cruise ship sailing with passengers since March 2019! Unbelievable! All cruises suspended now until February 28, 2021, with some 7 day Disney cruises suspended until July 2021.)
In 2022 aboard the Wish, Disney Cruise Line guests can look forward to a signature island experience that celebrates the spirit and culture of The Bahamas and the natural environment at a new Disney Port of Call, which will be located on the breathtaking island of Eleuthera at a place called Lighthouse Point.

Disney completed the purchase of Lighthouse Point on the island of Eleuthera, and construction began in early 2020, but was suspended in March 2020. The new completion date is late 2022. So, the Disney Wish will make Castaway Cay it’s port of call until Lighthouse Point is ready.

We’ve written two books about our time working – and playing – as Disney Cast Members at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
Both are available on Amazon.com in paperback and Kindle: Two Girls and a Mouse Tale and Adventures in the Animal Kingdom.

Have a magical day!
We had a blast aboard the Disney Dream on our Caribbean cruise:

Disney Trivia: Did you know that this Swarovski-covered Cinderella Castle (below) is for sale at Crystal Arts at the Magic Kingdom for the cool price of $49,500??

And they sold 5 of them in 2020???
Previously, it could be had for a mere $37,500 (that was it’s price when we last saw it), but the castle now retails for a whopping $49,500 due to dwindling stock. The castle went up in price by $12,000 in September 2020. It has been discontinued, so once these last ones sell out, they’re gone for good.

Very good blog!…, people are talking about this on our blog.
