Cinderella’s Royal Carriage on display last week.

Cinderella’s Royal Carriage returned to Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom for a few days for Valentine’s Day, on February 13, 14, and 15, 2019.

We were walking by Prince Charming’s Regal Carousel and happened to spot it.

There were only 3 people in line to see it!

That’s a very plush carriage seat!

She’s a favorite of ours!  Just the nicest character that you’ll talk to at the Magic Kingdom!

We went on Prince Charming’s Regal Carousel that night and the carriage was still out, all illuminated.  Very pretty!

A Magical Moment Reunion

When Amber was 2 years old, she met Snow White at the Magic Kingdom.

“Every single time I saw her until I was 15, she recognized me and knew me by name. She made my Disney childhood so incredibly magical. I haven’t seen her in person since, but I knew she was now the Fairy Godmother. Today, I tracked her down & got to hug her. Best day ever!!”

Best Snacks at Disney World

We love WDW cotton candy!

We love WDW cotton candy!  ❤

The Best Park Snacks (Many for Under $5):  These will fill you up until dinnertime!

It’s snacktime!  What are you in the mood for…something sweet?, something salty?, something hot?, something cold????  Many snacks at the parks are actually quiet filling!

Here’s a list of our favorite snacks:

  1. Bakery items.  Every park has a bakery crammed packed with freshly baked pastries, huge cupcakes, muffins, cookies, cronuts, French macaroons…all of it delicious!  Find out where the park bakery is when you get there and stop in when you’re not hungry.  Plan on what you want to buy when you return hungry.
  2. QSFB cart snacks. Mickey ice cream bars, popcorn, huge Mickey pretzels, funnel cakes, churros and more.  Yes, please!
  3. Confectionary shops. Huge freshly dipped caramel apples, cotton candy, chocolate dipped marshmallows on a stick, bags of caramel popcorn.
  4. Dole Whip. Have some by itself or as a float with pineapple juice.
  5. Starbucks has opened locations in all the parks (DAK’s is coming soon) and Downtown Disney.  Iced coffees, hot coffee drinks, hot cocoa, pastries.  All of it good!
  6. Popcorn! Regular and caramel, at the quick service carts.

 Our recommended snacking locations:

MK: Main Street Confectionery, Sleepy Hollow Refreshments, Big Top Treats, Aloha Isle, Sunshine Tree Terrace, Cheshire Café, The Friar’s Nook, Storybook Treats

We’ve written a book about our year working at Disney World in the Disney College Program: Two Girls and a Mouse Tale. It’s filled with advice about the DCP program and how to get the most out of your internship.
We worked at WDW for a year in the Disney College Program (Fall 2013/Spring 2014) and wrote about what it’s like to be a cast member working for Disney.
We give advice on how to successfully get into the DCP program, including some of the actual phone interview questions, how to have a successful internship at Disney, and how not self-term before your program ends. Our book is filled with lots of behind-the-scene stories of the magic of Disney.

Several guests have asked if the new Cinderella carriage is real or a movie prop.  The answer is:  REAL!

The 2-ton enchanted golden conveyance comes to Streets of America in Hollywood Studios from England’s Pinewood (movie) studios. The carriage was built in Poland and is 16.5 feet long, 7 feet wide and 10 feet tall.

It’s on display until April 11, 2015.

UPDATE 4/29/2015:  The Cinderella Carriage is still on display at DHS!  We’re hearing that it will be there now until the end of June 2015!!  The longest that guests are having to wait for their photo op with it is just 20 minutes.  🙂

Before arriving at Hollywood Studios, it made it's Florida debut at the Magic Kingdom.
