*****

Merry Christmas!

For the first time ever during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, several Magic Kingdom attractions are getting special enhancements just for the holidays!

When you get behind the wheel on the Tomorrowland Speedway, you’ll find yourself cruising a festive freeway filled with thousands of lights and stylized décor. The Speedway will be decked out with 50,000 sparking LED lights this holiday season!

The crew at Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor is putting some “Ho Ho Ho” in their “Ha Ha Ha,” with a new show for everyone visiting the Monster World during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Space Mountain launches you on a trippy jaunt through the cosmos, filled with dazzling lighting and high-energy holiday tunes.

The Mad Tea Party in Fantasyland becomes a wild and wacky Christmas party, as you spin your teacups to one of four new holiday combos of lights and music.

The Jingle Cruise! And, of course, the Jungle Cruise will once again be turned into the Jingle Cruise!

All this is in addition to the brand new “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” show, debuting this year.

Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show

This holiday season, the skies above Magic Kingdom will sparkle to life like never before during the 2019 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party with the debut of an all-new fireworks show that can be enjoyed across the park!

cindarellas-castle fireworks.jpgMinnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show, hosted by the one-and-only Minnie Mouse, will celebrate the magic of Christmas with medleys of beloved holiday songs, from “Joy to the World” and “Deck the Halls” to “Up on the House Top” and “We Wish You A Merry Christmas.”  The holiday music will evoke heartfelt moments of home and family, as well as the festive fun of the season before an incredible finale you won’t want to miss.

You’ll be able to see the special fireworks show during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on select nights November 8 – December 22, 2019.

Along with the new fireworks show, each of this year’s 23 nights of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will feature performances of Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas and Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration stage show.  And during A Frozen Holiday Wish stage show, Queen Elsa will magically transform Cinderella Castle with glistening ice.

During Party nights, you can also experience select rides and attractions (including the holiday-decorated “Jingle Cruise”), savor complimentary cookie and drink treats, discover event-exclusive merchandise, delight to a magical “snowfall” on Main Street, U.S.A., and much, much more.

frozen

It’s Christmastime at the Magic Kingdom!!!

Disney decorates Cinderella Castle for the holiday season with a “Dream Lights” effect that makes the Castle look covered in ice.

Over 350,000 LED lights are draped over the turrets and roofs and down the sides of the Castle to create this beautiful effect.  It takes over 7 weeks to hang all the lights!

We’ve gotten to see the Cinderella Castle Dream Lights being turned on many times for the past several years.  It’s beautiful each and every time!

The Dream Lights will stay lit until after the Disney Marathon Weekend happening January 9 – 13, 2019.

6pm:  The Frozen show –“A Frozen Holiday Wish” – where Queen Elsa lights the Castle’s Dream Lights with a sweep of her hand.

Just after dark at around 6pm, the characters from ‘Frozen’ come out on the Castle Stage and do a short show called “A Frozen Holiday Wish”.  The castle lighting show stars Queen Elsa (who turns on the Dream Lights with her magical, icy powers), Princess Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf the snowman.

The Frozen show starts the evening’s celebrations, followed by the Castle’s lighting ceremony at 6:15 pm.  The Castle’s Dream Lights remain on, with the Castle slowly changing colors from pink to green to blue to purple, for the rest of the evening until one hour after park closing.

Adventure Book Cover

Adventures in the Animal Kingdom

Lions and Tigers and Strollers, Oh My!

This is not Caroline’s first time in the Disney College Program. Along with her sister, she was previously accepted into the program a few years earlier.  Back in Colorado, Caroline was wishing for a little more pixie dust to brighten up her life.  On a whim, she decides to apply to the exclusive Disney Alumni Summer Program.

Now that she’s back, things get wild.

Wild, as in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, where Caroline is assigned to work in Stroller Rental.  While not the most glamorous position in the park, it’s often ground zero for humanity at its best and at its worst.

While Caroline makes many “Magical Moments” for deserving guests whose pixie dust has gone temporarily sideways, she also receives magical moments of her own through the friendships she makes, going to Disney cast member exclusive events, and all the spectacular dining opportunities at Disney World.

Caroline tells all – from the ins and outs of Disney’s secret training class called Traditions; to learning how to be a happy cast member during on-the-job training; to what it’s like to interact with fellow cast members and the guests who are ready to explore the most magical place on earth.

Join Caroline as she takes you on a wild ride through her adventures in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. But be careful, it’s a jungle out there!

Available now at Amazon.com in paperback and Kindle formats. Published by Theme Park Press.
