The Tropical Hideaway at Disneyland
We always try and do something new on every trip to Disneyland, and The Tropical Hideaway at Disneyland is brand new.
We love it!
Plenty of tables and chairs, very roomy! Covered seating.
We love all the plants and decor.

I loved the location and how nice it is to have a sitdown place to relax for a few minutes in Adventureland.
It’s especially nice if you’re waiting on your Fast Pass time to arrive.
It’s just so nice! We went there after seeing the birds perform at the Enchanted Tiki Room.
They desperately need a place like this at the Magic Kingdom!!!
So tropical! So relaxing!
Close your eyes and you’ll think you’re in Hawaii!
Rosita keeping guests entertained.
A Tropical Outpost for All
Explore the wilds of Adventureland and then kick back and enjoy delish dishes amidst this lush, trader’s market.
Nestled at the crossroads of Adventureland, The Tropical Hideaway is a new quick-service location featuring exotic eats and a place to rest for weary world travelers. Soak in the sights and sounds of this bustling bazaar-style atmosphere with a variety of food vendors offering sweet and savory meal options. It’s an exotic Adventureland experience like never before!
Wonderful Wildlife and Flickering Tiki Torches
Grab a bite, relax on the open-air dock along the Jungle Cruise waterfront, and meet Rosita, a friendly feathered “entertainer” who’s embarking on a solo career away from the bird chorus at Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room.
Before this colorful cockatoo spreads her wings to tour the world, Rosita will tell jokes, deliver witty one-liners and recalls a time when The Tropical Hideaway was an unknown terrace frequented by locals. At sundown, the ambiance is transformed by flickering torch lights that illuminate your way through this truly enchanted setting!
Recognize this floor tile???
Insider Tip: This is located at the old Aladdin meet and greet location. The tiled rug is still right in front welcoming you!
We met Aladdin and Princess Jasmine there several times.
Cheers to the new year!
We’ve written two books about our time working – and playing – as Disney Cast Members at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
Both are available on Amazon.com in paperback and Kindle: Two Girls and a Mouse Tale and Adventures in the Animal Kingdom.
