New this year is a brand-new fireworks show, “Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular.”
In the show, Jack Skellington from “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” serves as host and has come to tell a “not-so-scary” story about how anything can happen on Halloween night. The show will also include state-of-the-art projections and lasers, plus lighting and dazzling fireworks that will fill the sky above Magic Kingdom Park.
The party also includes a new interactive treat trail at Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor and attractions updated with new Halloween twists as well.
Look for new Halloween costumes for Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, spooky additions to “Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade!”, and a new Haunted Mansion unit featuring the spectral Bride, who glides among the waltzing spirits all representing Liberty Square.
A new Tomorrowland unit brings The Incredibles and designer extraordinaire Edna Mode to “Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade,” followed by Buzz Lightyear and some Alien explorers, as they discover crystalline treasures on the surface of a planetary playset float.

November 2, 2019: The last night of 2019 MNSSHP was last night. The party was over at Midnight, but the All Clear wasn’t given until 2am. The crews brought in all their magical holiday decor and the transformation from Halloween to Christmas began.
Unfortunately, they ran out of time and the Halloween bunting was still up today!
Disney markets this as an exclusive event, and outside of some of the signature meet-and-greet experiences with massive lines, the rest of the evening goes by pretty smoothly with shorter-than-usual wait times for rides and brisk-moving candy station queues.
Disney can keep guest traffic in check by limiting the number of tickets it sells, but the math gets harder when hundreds, if not thousands, of buyers of the new pass have unlimited access.
It would be rough to justify the $299 passes if it creates dissatisfaction for the one-timers paying full price for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
