The new Cast Connection building is located at the intersection of Western Way and Bear Island Road, near the massive Walt Disney World Tree Farm where a variety of plants, trees and shrubs are grown for use in the parks and resorts on property. That is so cool to drive by! Think of all the stuff Disney grows in there year-round!
Western Way can be accessed from Buena Vista Drive between the entrances of the Coronado Resort and Blizzard Beach.
NOTE: You must be a Disney Cast Member, or a guest of one, to visit this little slice of shopping paradise. You need a current Cast ID to check out. Guests may pay for their purchases with their own funds, but they won’t get the 10% off additional CM discount.
Cast members can bring up to 6 (six) friends and family into Cast Connection and Property Control, but only cast members can go into the damages side of the building, which is now called ‘Mickeys Treasures’.
Cast Connection is a cast exclusive store that sells out-of-season or discontinued new merchandise, holiday merchandise, slightly damaged merchandise from the Parks (wrinkled/stained clothing), and some groceries (like what guests can buy at Fort Wilderness grocery store).

GREAT DEALS AWAIT AT CAST CONNECTION & PROPERTY CONTROL
Disney’s Eyes & Ears Magazine
After more than 20 years in the Magic Kingdom Park area, Cast Connection and Property Control has found a new home off of Western Way behind Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.
Cast Connection is a great, onsite destination where cast members can purchase surplus or discontinued merchandise that was previously available within Walt Disney World Resort locations, as well as groceries. Anything from furniture to tableware that has previously been used across property is available for purchase within Property Control. Offerings within the location change frequently, so cast members should make visiting the stores a reoccurring item on their to-do list.
Cast Connection offers select groceries. From milk and eggs to fruit and cheese, Cast Connection can be more than just your source for unique Disney merchandise.
Based on availability, Cast Connection often carries some of the best-selling products within our stores like Disney Tsum Tsum plushes, holiday offerings, Disney Animator’s dolls and more! (All merchandise is subject to change and supplies are limited.)
Property Control offers company assets that were often previously used in Guest areas. This is a great way for cast members to get some great deals while reducing the number of items sent to a landfill.
Also, cast members can bring up to six family members or friends when visiting the location. (Some areas of the store, such as Mickey’s Treasures and Property Control, are limited to cast members only, and those with a Spouse/Domestic Partner Main Entrance Pass only.) The relocation brings lots of great benefits for shoppers, including additional retail space, a dedicated parking lot, extended hours and the two stores now being under one roof.
Plan your visit to the new store: Sunday – Wednesday, 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m. or Thursday – Saturday, 9 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
And, don’t forget about Disney’s Character Warehouse over at the Outlets! Really great deals there too and cast members get a discount. Everyone is welcome!
Lions and Tigers and Strollers, Oh My!
This is not Caroline’s first time in the Disney College Program. Along with her older sister, she was previously accepted into the program a few years earlier. Back in Colorado, Caroline was wishing for a little more pixie dust to brighten up her life. On a whim, she decides to apply to the exclusive Disney Alumni Summer Program.
Now that she’s back, things get wild.
Wild, as in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, where Caroline is assigned to work in Stroller Rental. While not the most glamorous position in the park, it’s often ground zero for humanity at its best and at its worst.
While Caroline makes many “Magical Moments” for deserving guests whose pixie dust has gone temporarily sideways, she also receives magical moments of her own through the friendships she makes, going to Disney cast member exclusive events, and all the spectacular dining opportunities at Disney World.
Caroline tells all – from the ins and outs of Disney’s secret training class called Traditions; to learning how to be a happy cast member during on-the-job training; to what it’s like to interact with fellow cast members and the guests who are ready to explore the most magical place on earth.
Join Caroline as she takes you on a wild ride through her adventures in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. But be careful, it’s a jungle out there!
